North Branch Area Hockey Association

The President's responsibilities include: 

The president has the overall responsibility of all operations of the North Branch Area Hockey Association.

The president is responsible to schedule dates for and conduct board and membership meetings, this includes working with the secretary in order to define an agenda for each meeting and conducting the meeting to accomplish the agenda.

The president is responsible for maintaining all organization operating documents, including the Articles of Incorporation, policies and procedures, non-profit status applications, by laws, tax documents, etc.

The president is responsible for requiring and verifying financial audit information for the North Branch Area Youth Hockey Association gambling operations as well and the North Branch Youth Hockey Association itself.

The president serves as the chairperson to the North Branch Hockey Association which manages the organization's charitable gambling operations. This includes working with the gambling manager to address all issues, reporting the gambling status to the board members, verifying the appropriate submission of required paperwork to the state and accountant, and interfacing, as required, with the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board.

The president is the primary interface between North Branch Youth Hockey Association and

• USA Hockey
• Minnesota Amateur Hockey Association
• MAHA District 10
• Other Youth Hockey Organizations
• Association Accountant

Oversees Arena Project Manager - For the remainder of the 2011 - 2012 season.  This position normally reports to the Vice President.  However, due to interm VP this season some duties are being covered by other board members.
