Wild Mountain Fundraiser

Pass on the Coupons and Earn Funds for the Stacy Sports Complex!

NBAHA is teaming up with Wild Mountain on a winter fundraiser.  Help NBAHA pass out hard copy and/or electronic copies of the Wild Mountain coupon cards to your friends, families and coworkers.  NBAHA will earn the following for each card used.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Stacy Sports Complex.

Offer 1 $5.00 off a full priced lift ticket
                Valid anytime
                For every ticket you purchase $3 will be donated to your organization

 Offer 2 $1.00 off a 2 hour Snow Tubing Session or unlimited Snow Tubing for only $15.00
                Valid anytime
                for every snow tubing session purchased $1 will be donated to your organization
 
 
You can pass on the .pdf or .jpg available on our website via your facebook page or email.  As well, we have hard copies of the coupons available.  Cards will be handed out to families at mandatory fundraising turn in tonight or will be available from Stephanie Schmitt.  You can contact Stephanie at donschmitt@rocketmail.com.

Help Needed Friday & Saturday (11/25 & 11/26) at Stacy Sports Complex

Come help us make the dream a reality one block at a time!

Have a little time to spare Friday or Saturday?  We need your help to finish laying block at the Stacy Sports Complex.  We need not only experienced block layers but anyone who can help carry block to them.

Show up at any point on Friday or Saturday for as long as you can help.  It will take all of us to help make this dream a reality.

Fundraising Turn In & Last Chance to Order Apparel

Monday, November 28th

FUNDRAISING TURN IN:  The mandatory fundraising material turn in is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28 from 6:00-7:30 at the North Branch Library. If you have not already turned in your fundraising materials you MUST drop it off during this time.  If you cannot make this time, please send your materials with another family.

APPAREL:  Any family that missed the previous try on times, or have changed their mind and want to order NBAHA apparel, the samples will be available during the fundraising turn in time. If you plan on ordering, please print the attached order form and bring it along with payment that night. If you are paying by check the check should be made payable to Lee’s Pro Shop.  This will be the last date I will be taking orders.

FIRST YEAR FAMILIES: Although you are not required to do the mandatory fundraising, if you want to try on and order apparel please come to the North Branch Library on the 28th at the above listed time. If you plan on ordering, please print the attached order form and bring it along with payment that night. If you are paying by check the check should be made out to Lee’s Pro Shop.  This will be the last date I will be taking orders.

We need your help! 
We are ready to begin laying block for the front of the Stacy Sports Complex!
Thursday - Sunday

We are in need of block layers and general laborers.  If you are a block layer or know of someone who is that would be willing to donate some time to the project and is available please let Craig Moline know ASAP. 

 

We also need many general laborers to help carry block and do other tasks.  No skills required for this task. If you can carry block you are qualified.

 

The more volunteers we can provide the more money we will save to use for other areas in the project.  The project budget is very tight and using volunteer labor anywhere we can will help us make this dream a reality.  We will gladly give service credits to any association member that helps out. 1 credit per every 2 hours worked.

Help Recruit New Mite Skaters

Chance to Win NBAHA Apparel

We need your help recruiting new Mite skaters!  Print out the following flyer and let your friends know why you love playing  hockey.  If they are interested in giving it a try themselves have them register online to play hockey fill out the form you gave them and turn it in to their coach at their first practice.  You will then be given a recognition award for helping recruit and be entered in a drawing to win NBAHA apparel.  The drawing will be held the end of November.

2011 - 2012 GDI Goalie Clinics

The NBAHA board had agreed to send our goalies to Cambridge/Isanti's GDI goalie clinics again this year.  If your skater is committed to being a full or part time goalie this year we encourage them to attend these trainings.   The cost for these clinics will be covered by the association.  If your skater wishes to participate then we ask they attend all sessions if possible.

Squirt and PeeWee's will attend the SR Goalie sessions and Upper Mites the JR Goalie sessions.

Please contact board@northbranchhockey.com to indicate if your skater wishes to participate so we can let Cambridge Isanti know who to expect and we can pay them appropriately.
