Hello All….
It is that time of year again where we need to discuss the bantam program for North Branch Area Hockey Association for the upcoming 2012/2013 season.
We would really appreciate your attendance at the upcoming bantam parent meeting (players welcome) on the 12th of April at 5:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
Members from the NBAHA Board as well as high school representatives (Brett Carlson, A.D. and Mike Deschneau – H.S. Coach) will be in attendance to discuss the options for this group of skaters.
Please attend and be prepared to discuss the bantam program and ask questions in an effort to come to a decision on what is in the best interest of these skaters.
If you cannot make the meeting or have questions prior to the meeting, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make this event a success, from planning the event, calling for donations, providing donations, setting up for the event this morning and helping at the event tomorrow night. Without everyone's support this event would not be a success.

The NBAHA Annual Membership Meeting will be held Monday, 3/26 at 6:30 pm at the North Branch Library. All parents of NBAHA skaters are encouraged to attend to hear annual reports form the NBAHA Board of Directors and vote for open board positions.
As well, if you submitted your skaters grades for the S.K.A.T.E. program the awards will be handed out during the meeting.

Thank you to those who have donated to the Power Play Fundraiser thus far! We are currently in need of many more donations to make the event successful and raise as much money for the Stacy Sports Complex as possible. Our goal is to finish the front of the complex as well as a refrigerated outdoor sheet of ice for use this fall. The more money we raise at this event the closer we will get to accomplishing this goal.
Returning families, you paid $40 for 2 tickets to Power Play when you registered. We did not hand out tickets last fall so that you would not have to hang onto them all winter. Your name will be on a list at the door of the event. We hope to see everyone there!
New families, we encourage you to attend the event to support the Stacy Sports Complex. You'll have a great time and its a great way to get to know the families better from your skaters team this year and to meet families who've been around awhile.
Invite your family and friends to the event! Anyone who needs tickets can purchase them at the door for $20 per ticket. This is a great deal for an evening out - supper, music, beer sold by the Stacy Lions, silent and live auction, and paddle wheel/tipboards, mystery box ($10 per box), money bag raffles ($10 per ticket). Checks accepted for live and silent auction items the night of the event.
Donations Needed
One item we are currently short on for donations is bottles of liquor. These are great sellers on the silent auction as well used on Paddle Wheel/Tipboard for prizes. Do you have any unopened bottles at home that you would be willing to donate? If so, contact Janelle. You can drop off any donations at the Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, March 26th.
As well, do you have season tickets to a sports event? Would you or your company be willing to donate a set? These are great donations for the silent auction.
